Bathaus

Completed in 2025, this 246-square-foot addition brings modern comfort and functionality to a historic 1928 Tudor while blending seamlessly with its original architecture. The project included rebuilding the screened porch below for structural support, creating a stronger connection between old and new. Upstairs, the new suite features a remodeled bedroom, walk-in closet, integrated laundry, and a bathroom designed for everyday ease. A clawfoot tub, arched shower, and custom millwork reference the home’s historic details, while rosemary-toned tile, brass inlays, and double-herringbone floors introduce a fresh, durable palette. Subtle touches—like wallpaper at the vanity and reused cabinet doors—add personality while maintaining continuity with the home’s story. The result is a suite that feels timeless, practical, and tailored—bringing modern amenities to a classic home without losing its character.
